The Swiss designer envisioned a capsule featuring two shirts and a suit composed of an oversized jacket and a skirt. Reinventing the art of tailoring, he refines cuts and volumes until the clothing exudes a certain attitude. He enjoys elevating staples of the teenage wardrobe by infusing them with a touch of sophistication, just as he delights in seeing a classic long skirt take on a nonchalant twist.
A few details make all the difference: a premium fabric, a pleat at the back of the skirt inspired by the yoke on denim jeans.
“It all stems from my personal relationship with clothing. I love finding the balance between elegance and teenage irreverence—all without taking things too seriously. For me, beauty is something that develops over time; it’s dynamic. I notice it with the models wearing my designs. Through fittings and movements, they bring a new energy to the pieces. Take a perfectly tailored black jacket, for example, don’t you think it just makes you want to stand up straighter?”
