Inspired by the expression L’Esprit de l’Escalier, which refers to the moment when the perfect comeback only comes to mind after the fact, this poetic and narrative scenography evokes the spaces where the character mentally revisits conversations from their encounters: a bus stop, a friend’s basement, or the restroom of a club. This staging, a reflection of their scattered thoughts and endearing awkwardness, subtly accompanies a character overwhelmed by the challenges of adult life, offering an immersive glimpse into their world—both touching and disoriented.
